Adventist HealthCare (AHC) seeks to hire an Office Supervisor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an Office Supervisor, you will:
oProvides day-to-day operational supervision of a team of administrative, technical, and/or clinical (non-provider) employees.
Includes working in collaboration with Office Manager to interview, hire, terminate, discipline, manage performance, etc.
of non-provider team members.
oCoordinates operational needs/requirements of office to include but not limited to maintain machines and equipment; to procure office and medical supplies, equipment, phone service, IT support, etc.
oAssists the Office Manager in providing information for budget justification, and maintains reports and records needed to account for utilization of funds.
oAlong with the Office Manager, the Office Supervisor will assist with developing, evaluating, and recommending methods to improve the processing of the work of the office and utilization of funds.
oResponsible for checking and monitoring that providers and staff are completing tasks in EMR.
oWith the assistance of the Office Manager, monitor Appointment Manager past day and current day, and check eligibility reports on a daily basis for all patient appointments.
oComplete test edits on a daily basis and review and submit charges daily.
oMaintain PAR levels of office supplies and medical supplies in the office.
Qualifications Include:
oMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
oMust be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
oMust be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations.
oMust have strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the organization.
oMust be able to do math calculations and input data into the computer.
oA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
oTwo years of administrative, billing, and office management experience, preferably in physician office and/or ambulatory care setting.
One year of progressive supervisory responsibility preferred.
oTwo years of office management experience, preferably in physician office and/or ambulatorycare setting.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
