Silver Spring, MD The Colleague Health Nurse, assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document job related health care for all persons working at Holy Cross Hospital to include employees, volunteers, students, and contract staff for duration of employment.
Responsibilities The Employee Health Nurse works in collaboration with the Infection Control Practitioner to identify, evaluate, treat, and initiate work restrictions for those exposed to chemical, biological or other hazards of the workplace environment.
Assumes responsibility/accountability for organizing, directing, and coordinating case management activities with an interdisciplinary team.
Maintains competence and an awareness of new trends in healthcare and occupational health.
Communicates individual staff and specific hospital needs to appropriate manager/physician.
Facilitates pre-employment medical evaluation and follow up as indicated Implement immunization programs as recommended by Public Health and approved by Holy Cross Hospital.
What you will need Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as Registered Nurse.
BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.

in Nursing.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience (Outpatient, emergency room, or public health preferred).
Ability to communicate and work with persons of diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated knowledge of Worker's Compensation Laws, OSHA Standards, and other applicable regulations such as those that apply to the drug free workplace, or the ADA.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
