Sr. Compliance Reporting Analyst

Description We have an immediate need for an Information Assurance/Security Specialist in support of a SAFe Agile DevSecOps program.
This role supports the process, review, and usage of FISA derived data in a dynamic intelligence enterprise.
This role supports enterprise-wide compliance to ensure data retention and purging policies are enforced through IT tools and provides the ability to generate reports as needed.
Primary
Responsibilities:
This position calls for a strong attention to detail while researching information to support the development of reports intended for external audiences.
It also requires an understanding of cable traffic, data retention, and purging policies and the ability to ensure they are enforced through IT tools (with the ability to generate reports as needed).
The candidate must understand the methodologies and tradecraft used by an All-Source analyst.
Respond to assignments and taskers in accordance with outlined guidelines, provide status and follow-up until tasker is closed.
Maintain compliance records.
Implement and apply data handling compliance standard operating procedures, principles, tools, techniques, and requirements.
Conduct compliance audits and assessments of the customer's IT systems and application to verify the customer's compliance and data handling obligations pursuant to relevant legal authorities, interagency agreements, guidelines, and policies.
Conduct independent research and compile findings into products with minimal supervision.
Continuously look for ways to improve processes and push for excellence.
Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with oversight, technical, and operations colleagues to share information and explain specifics of compliance programs and procedures.
Review reports for accuracy, proper access to and use of data and usefulness of data for continued use.
Coordinate with data scientists to ensure data quality, availability, accuracy and completeness.
Assist in developing requirements for automated compliance oversight processes for the organization's use of and access to new datasets and/or emerging technologies.
Assist in providing pertinent information and investigation results to the appropriate personnel in potential technical investigations and audits of IT systems related to data-handling compliance incidents (i.
e.
unauthorized or inappropriate accesses, data deletions, etc.
).
Assist in the development of a plan for innovating data-handling compliance including facilitating discussions between the relevant customer stakeholder groups.
Formulate technical documents and document process and procedures, methods, documents, and procedures to help guide appropriate use of data and processes.
Collaborate and communicate with other components as needed to help fulfill roles and responsibilities.
Basic
Qualifications:
Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
Knowledge/experience in handling, processing, controlling, and disseminating Sensitive Compartmented Information.
Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in written reports and documents, policies, plans, and programs related to improving information sharing across the U.
S.
Government.
Ability to develop effective professional and interpersonal relationships with peers and colleagues within the enterprise, the IC, and U.
S.
Government, and to earn their confidence and trust.
Ability to balance responsibilities among assigned activities; including the ability to manage transitions effectively from task to task, and adaptability to varying customer needs.
Ability to logically and objectively analyze, synthesize, and judge information, as well as the ability to review and incorporate multiple sources of information in performing assignments.
Ability to evaluate data and draw pertinent inferences from data trend analysis and interpret the data to make good policy decisions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment and utilize strong organizational and interpersonal problem-solving skills.
Education:
Must have a BS with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous experience working the FISA information.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.
00 - $150,000.
00 - $202,500.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
