Desktop Technician Silver Spring, MD and Rockville, MD - onsite US citizenship required per government contract Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Job Description:
Provide operational support to enterprise level solutions deployed in an IT Lab environment using virtual server hosting, backup solutions and service level storage solutions.
Provision VMWare virtual servers (RHEL/Windows) and deploy patches to Enterprise IT Lab hardware, software and hosting infrastructure.
Maintain server/blade hardware including failed component replacement.
Deploy software and application upgrades, patches and fixes to Enterprise IT Lab environment including hardware, software, OS, BIOS flashes, hot fixes, lab software, anti-virus and firewall components.
Required:

years of experience in a desktop or lab environment oExperience installing, configuring, administering, and patching physical and virtual servers and network infrastructure components.
oExperience installing, configuring, administering, and patching VMWare and VCenter infrastructure.
oExperience with administering Linux RHEL and Windows based servers and Dell Blades/ChassisPreferred:
oExperience with Service Now ticketing system.
oA+/Network
or VMWare certificationsNote:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
