What are we looking for in our Phlebotomist I ? Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Phlebotomist I opportunity based in Silver Spring, MD.
This is a contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion into permanent based on your work performance).
Schedule:
1st shift Mon- Fri-7:
30 am to 4:
30 pm Pay rate:
$18- $21/hr.
(Pay rate depends on experience, expertise and education)
Responsibilities:
Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Education &
Experience:
High school graduate or GED equivalent 6 months of phlebotomy required with all ages.
Excellent customer service skills.
