The ideal person will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including:
Communicate effectively with clients, team members and/or government agencies Proactively follow up on document requests and collection New client intakes and case initiation utilizing our electronic case management system Assist attorneys and paralegals in the preparation of cases for review and filing, including assembling and mailing of packages to respective agencies Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of documents and forms Manage a high volume of cases Manage case progress to make sure it is on track to meet deadlines Provide clients with regular status updates Draft invoices, and client correspondence Participate in legal and firm meetings
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents and correspondence, such as complaints, and briefs Conduct legal research and advise attorneys in regards to the same Convey information by telephone, email, and in person to clients, attorneys, and courts Sort through and file documents Maintain the office's filing system Assist attorneys with court preparation Other administrative tasks as needed Job Types:
