Seeking experienced HR Coordinator / Recruiter to work with small IT company in the DC Metro area. Must have at least five years of progressive human resources experience in positions such as Human Resources Generalist, HR Coordinator, Recruiter, and Executive Assistant.
Exceptional administrative and customer service skills: experience in all areas of human resources including, but not limited to, new hire processes, new hire orientations and paperwork, W-2, W-4, I-9, credentialing, performance management, recruiting, staffing, posting job ads, employee relations, compliance, reference checks, experience with HRIS, and working with upper level management.
Must be independent and a self-starter with the ability to complete assignments with little or no supervision.
This is a virtual position, requiring you to work from home. Although this is a virtual position, candidate must live in the DC Metro area. Candidate will need to attend periodic meetings in person in our office in Silver Spring, Maryland. Must have own computer, printer and reliable high speed Internet access.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
