upgraded from Java 1.5 to 1.7, but going by 1.6 standards. The consultants need to be fluent in Java 1.4 through 1.6 as there will be clean-up work involved primarily rewriting code to function properly with upgrade.
They also have JSP and XML in the shop.(here is what they had from past job descriptions so you know the tools they are using)but not so sure theyll need everything eg., JSP/JBOSS etc. but so you know what they have
The successful candidate must be able to understand and be comfortable working with Java, preferably JSP, Hibernate, XML, JBOSS, CVS and other related tools in both the Linux and the Windows environments. . Relational DBMS concept and SQL experience is helpful but not required. J2EE includes JSP, Servlet, EJB, Java messenger Service (JMS), Jasper Reports, Eclipse.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
