Enterprise Architect (Data Center Manager) - DCoE PH/TBI
Overview
Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS), a progressive IT company, is seeking motivated IT professionals to help us form a talented team in support of the Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health (PH) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) IT Support Services Program in Silver Spring, MD.
This particular position is Data Center Manager, a Key Position. The successful candidate will manage all Data Center operations on our DCoE PH/TBI Program upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Manages all DCoE Data Center operations across multiple facilities
Leads a team that operates, maintains, and performs sustainment engineering of the Data Center and its IT systems
Supports hardware and software installation and configuration activities
Ensures proper Data Center access control
Supervises the operation, maintenance, and systems monitoring, initializations, upgrades, backups, recoveries, and storage management for production systems
Determines and manages facility requirements including space allocation and power and cooling requirements
Supports troubleshooting and system performance tuning activities
Oversees day-to-day computer operations for multi-user hardware systems to support processing of varying on-line and batch applications and schedules
Plans, designs, and implements new capabilities and upgrades to the Data Center infrastructure to improve capacity and performance
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year college in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, math, computer science, or systems engineering
7
years of hands-on IT systems security experience
Proficiency in managing Data Center operations in a distributed environment
DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I certified; CAP, GSLC, Security
CE

Qualifications:
Help Desk Institute (HDI) certified
Desired Experience in:
Medical IT experience, in general, and DCoE IT experience, in particular
In-depth knowledge of databases, file storage, network engineering, application hosting, and intranet services
Required Clearance: National Agency Background Check; Defense Health Agency Clearable
