As a Supervisory IT Specialist, you will perform the following duties:
Provide oversight of the office's financial and project activities to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of overall plans, policies and procedures and recommend systemic adjustment to strategies, plans and improvement initiatives. Assess and decompose internal and external user requirements and user stories to influence development and evolution of common services and mission systems. This includes data usability, accessibility, discovery, analytical techniques, evaluation, and reporting methodology. Manage the planning, acquisition, development, integration, transition to operations, and sustainment of common ground services; including leading migration of on-premise capabilities to a public cloud solution and associated infrastructure. Coordinate risk assessment, scheduling, performance, and reporting, root-cause analysis and corrective action tracking. Review external audit results and investigative reports to advise management of the impact on operations and performance. Monitor implementation of recommended changes, corrective actions plan and milestones. Apply knowledge of IT Security policy, procedures, and controls and associated implementation in IT systems. Apply IT Security certification and accreditation. Serve as Supervisor planning and distributing work to be accomplished by subordinates; set and adjust short and long-term priorities and prepare schedules for the completion of work. Participate in facets of the personnel process:
recommend appointment, promotion, or reassignment. Hear and resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances to a higher level. IT COMPETENCIES:
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Experience:
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. This experience need not have been in the federal government.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify at the ZP-5 or GS-15 level:

Experience:
In addition to meeting the IT Competencies above, applicants must also possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the ZP-4 or GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience MUST include all of the following:
Provide high-level leadership concerning methods used and performance standards applied in the application and support of information technology programs, and recommend systematic adjustments; Developing and maintaining near real-time processing systems supporting multiple users; Perform in-depth statistical and comparative analysis of workload, resources and process indicators and collaborate on plans, policies and programs, as needed, to recommend migration, or development of enterprise systems supporting multiple functions and mission areas; and Managing and providing leadership to subordinate civil servant and contract staff such as distributing work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepare schedules for the completion of work.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
