Lead Budget Analyst, GS-0560-14 (MAP)

As a Lead Budget Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
Provide expert advice and guidance on the interpretation of all aspects of Congressional legislation, regulatory directives and procedural requirements regarding budget formulation and justification of assigned programs. Provide expert guidance and assistance on the development of long-range program and budgeting plans to support the National Weather Service (NWS) mission. Provide budget execution direction to programs through continual analyses and interpretation of Congressional legislation and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) directives. Use National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) systems and tools to perform data analysis (e.g., trend, variance, flux) and financial reporting. Serve as Team Lead articulating and communicating to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, milestones, and time frames. Experience:
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. This experience need not have been in the federal government.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.To qualify for the GS-14:
SPECIALIZED
Experience:
One full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience MUST include all of the following:
Coordinating the end-to-end budget process including budget formulation, justification and presentation, and budget execution assuring compliance with organizational priorities and policies; and Analyzing program or organizational financial data and reports.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
