Learning Toolkit Consultation Scope of Work - ADRA International MEAL Unit Introduction/Background:
Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Through an international network, ADRA delivers disaster relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 118 countries-regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, or religious association.
By partnering with communities, organizations, and governments, ADRA is able to improve the quality of life of millions through nine impact areas.
ADRA International is seeking a qualified consultant who has experience with knowledge management and learning (KM&L), to develop a learning toolkit that responds to the learning and sharing objectives in ADRA's MEAL policy.
The ideal consultant must have a strong understanding of KM&L concepts, approaches, tools, and techniques particularly suited to the development sector, as well as a grasp of international and donor standards (ie, USAID, GIZ, DFID, etc.
).
Prior experience working with other non-profit organizations specifically in KM& L with experience in developing guidelines, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) is advantageous.
In collaboration with ADRA International's MEAL team, and guided by current best practices, on needs identified, the consultant will develop a comprehensive toolkit that will include guidelines, templates, and SOPs to help the ADRA network understand key learning concepts and existing best/promising practices, and how to integrate effective learning across ADRA's portfolio of multi-sectoral (development and humanitarian programs).
Objectives of Scope of Work:
Review existing information, gap analysis and supporting documents to provide suggestions and recommendations of how learning within and across programs can be improved Develop a toolkit that will allow ADRA to operationalize learning across its programming portfolio Establish standards and procedures on implementing this guidance within the ADRA network Review and update ADRA's 'Developing Best Practices' guidance and templates The consultant will work closely with the Senior KM Advisor to fulfil these objectives.

Main deliverables:
Develop guidelines, templates, and SOPs to improve ADRA's capacity for effective learning across programs, including but not limited to:
Key learning concepts, processes, good practice, tools, and products Strategies for creating a learning culture within programs Effective incentives for learning from implementation Mitigation strategies for common programmatic learning challenges Learning to action planning and implementation/Using learning effectively throughout the program life cycle Practical 'how-to' guidance and templates on key learning tools and techniques highlighted in ADRA's 'Integration of Knowledge Management and Learning into Programs' checklist Develop PPT training deck to orient and train relevant units on developed guidance Develop updated 'Developing Best Practices' guidance and template The consultant must have:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in international development Demonstrated experience in developing guidelines, templates, and SOPs Solid knowledge of learning approaches, requirements and standards in the development and emergency sectors Ability to handle confidential information Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Strong collaboration skills Preferred:
Master's Degree in Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning, International Relations, social sciences, or other field relevant to this scope of work Experience in developing and implementing KM&L guidance and toolkits Proposed Timeline Deliverables Due Date Notes Kick off meeting between consultant and ADRA November 8, 2021 Review existing documentation and develop/update guidance.
November 25, 2021 Consultant will give feedback on identified gaps and recommendations, progress to date.
Submission of First Draft December 1, 2021 Consultant will submit a first draft of guidelines and templates, SOPs for review ADRA Review December 8, 2021 ADRA will review the first draft and provide comments/edits Submission of Second Draft December 15, 2021 Consultant will incorporate comments/edits ADRA Review December 20, 2021 ADRA will review draft and provide any final comments/edits Submission of Final Draft December 22, 2021 Consultant will incorporate final comments/edits and submit a final draft ADRA Final Review December 27, 2021 ADRA will conduct a final review of documents Interested consultants should send their CVs and a workplan to Senior Knowledge Management Advisor (yemisi.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
